ABOUT

David Duggan is a Traditional Cabinetmaker who has specialized in antique furniture conservation for the last 30 years. He studied and worked with Walter Raines in the area of conservation in the late 1980s. Much the work produced was for The Baltimore Museum of Art and the Maryland Historical Society to get their collections ready for their respective Classical Furniture Exhibits in the early 1990s. Each of these Exhibits were documented and elaborated on in two publications ”Classical America” and “Classical Maryland” respectively. Duggan has continued to work with these two museums as well as The National Park Service, Maryland State Archives, Johns Hopkins University and many smaller regional museums as a Furniture Conservator.
